Long overdue

Only two and a half months later.  Nearly forgot about this here project, maybe it just isn't needed. Programming: Finished up 13 different codecademy courses on different covering Python.  Supplementing at home with a 1600 page Python book.  Trying some JavaScript now. Where will this take me?  Probably nowhere.  Am I proficient or a good coder?  Nope.  Am I enjoying it? Yes.  Just the fact I'm learning something that was so foreign to me. Have to step out of your comfort zone to get anywhere in life. Should I try to learn to dance then?  Some popping and locking?  That would be hilarious... Taken up a new goal this hitch at work, to be able to do 15 nonstop pullups.  Started the hitch able to do 8-9.  Been doing pullups throughout the engine room, keeping up a 2 days on/ 1 day off schedule, averaging about 40-50 pullups a day.  Currently I can get 13, almost got 14.  Need to incorporate dips and pushups. ...

Purifier workout

Didn't want to get out of bed to work out today, but forced myself to.  Glad I did though. I made it a whole 12 minutes of Insanity 30.  For just rolling out of bed, I'm content.  Had enough time to do a few minutes of abs. Felt great, ate lots of protein for breakfast (since it is midnight meal).  Good way to start the day for working on a purifier, of course one of the FO ones, so I have to lug all parts up to the workshop.  Overall I may have gotten a better workout on the purifier than the gym.  Or the damn humidity is too high, fuck it was hot and sticky. Have a bit of time leftover for some coding.  Been waiting for that "AHA!" moment, and had a small one.  I just wasn't understanding how the argument works in a function, that it seems just arbitrary for a name, while afterwards defining a new variable that isn't used in any other function.  Felt stupid once it clicked.  I think I will go through the course again when I finish i...

Why a Blog? What's going on.

The purpose of this blog is more of a journal for my personal uses.  It seems much easier than carrying a journal with me all over the world, as I nearly always have a computer and internet. I will be using this platform to keep myself in check and track my progress as I learn new subjects, while giving me a chance to find more projects.  Also to help keep me motivated I will write as if I am writing to other people, though I don't care if someone happens to find this. For now, what am I currently learning? Golf- will never stop learning on this one. Shooting/marksmanship- will be nice to punch one big hole in paper rather than a spread. Reloading- I reload to shoot more, I shoot more to reload more. Programming- Just started Python...again.  But getting further and more motivated now. What's on the backburner? Muay Thai- have not seemed to have the time...will fix that. Calligraphy- Started, got sidetracked.  Didn't care for the book I am learnin...
